Since it is so high mileage I think I would just pull the pan and change the 4-6 quarts that are in the pan and replace the filter. If you go to a place that flushes transmissions, I have known that with the new fluid the lining comes off of the fiber plates.
. use atf+4 from Chrysler dealer or it destroys the clutches.
Some transfer cases might be different but there should be two large bolts/plugs on the rear of the transfer case, one about half way up and one on the bottom. The bottom one is for draining and the top one if for filling it back up. It is pretty tight manuevering to fill it and usually makes a mess trying to get the fluid back in. It should be filled just until it starts to flow out of the fill hole and use whatever fluid the dealer or parts store recommends. There is also a small filter inside the transfer case that doesnt really need to be changed but will trap dirt and stuff once inside the case and can be cleaned. I've changed two t-cases and drained them both before taking them apart and they still had gunk stuck in there. The only way to clean it is to take the back half of the t-case apart but unless you have done similar projects or can find a description online of how to do it i would not recommend it. Even if you dont clean the filter the t-case will probably be the last thing to go in a drivetrain.

Also, if your doing a complete fluid replacement from a serious leak u should let the engine idle for a while after filling, then drive conservatively for a while so that any air can purge itself from the transmission or fluid lines because this may cause abnormal shifting.
you will have to remove your oil pan on your tranny change your filter and gasket befor re installing oil pan replace the oil with a funnel at your dipstack 6 or more quarts (not pints) of oil drive safe
Transmission Fluid changes are only one way, pull the pan, drain, reseal and fill. With my experience this all I could do.
You have to remove the transmission pan to drain the fluid. Change the filter(s). Reinstall the pan and fill the fluid.
