Fred's dinosaur's name was Dino
If u r talking about Fred Weasley than he used to work at the joke shop. It was called Weasleys Wizard Wheezes. He e worked there before an explosion killed him at age 20 during the battle of Hogwarts. :(
Fred (usually) works at a quarry; Barney's occupation is never really explicitly specified in any kind of unambiguous way ... he's held a variety of temporary jobs, so it's kind of hard to guess which of these you might be referring to. For example, in one episode he repossessed TVs, and in another he was a geological engineer. He's also worked at the same quarry that Fred does, on occasion. At least once he was in advertising ... I'm not sure what his actual title was, but he (and Fred) were in a singing commercial for something called "Soft Soap." Barney's also been a drummer in a band (with Fred performing vocals).
Not before 1981 Steady
He used to work in the men's department at Nordstrom's in Scottsdale. His wife is a manicurist
Because he thinks he will be more posher or maybe because the ppl who made his character just thought it up First off Fred is a hard work blue collar worker who tends to be a loud mouth and often gets into trouble due his "off beat" personality. His character is modeled after the Homemoners Ralph Cramdon which may further explain the addition of the tie as a means of making Fred a bit more credible than a clown-like bumbling fool. As in the Ralph in the Homemooners, Fred Flintstone is a loving father, and husband, a good friend to Braney and generally a really nice guy. It could be to take the rough edges off of him his creators gave him his tradmarke prehistoric fashioned necktie. His tie is always one solid color and has a rough unfinished look which lends itself to his other apparel. I searched Google images and only found one image of Fred without a necktie and always he had a symetrical tie knot, that looks like a Windsor.
