While Titanic was based on some facts (there really was a Titanic, it really sank, many people died), the love story of Jack and Rose is fictional. It's a wonderful romantic story of two lovers who can never be together (much like other classic stories, such as Romeo and Juliet), and given how much they love each other, we can certainly imagine that Rose never forgets Jack. But life does go on, and as another person on this page has correctly noted, Rose goes on with her life and does find companionship and marriage. But it is certainly clear to anyone who saw the movie that Jack was her one great love, even if she finally had to learn to live without him.
