What kind of question is that? Are you seriously a non custodial parent that even thinks that is a question. You don't want to take your kids to their activities? Its called being an involved parent. The law doesnt need to be addressed, you need to step up to the plate and be a parent.

What age can child opt out of visitation in state of Idaho?

18. Until then, if the parent has court-ordered visitation, it has to be followed. If there is a legitimate reason the child does not want to visit the parent, the custodial parent can petition the court to revise the visitation order. Be aware the court will not deny a parent the right to visitation without a very goodreason.

Yes, provided the parent remembers the purpose of the visitation, and the friends do not draw attention from it.

Can you keep the father of your child from having visitation rights and still collect child support?

Child support and visitation are two separate issues. The custodial parent can file a suit for child support but cannot deny the non custodial parent custodial or vistation rights is said parent wants those rights. That being said, the non custodial parent can file for custody or visitation regardless of whether the child support issue is addressed or not. Such matters are decided by the court if the parents cannot find an equitable solution.

Would it be best to not seek child support for fear of the narcissistic father seeking visitation for the infant child you strongly believe he molested?

Child support and visitation are separate issues. The non-payment of support would not prohibit a biological parent from being granted visitation rights. Any suspected abuse of a child should be reported to the state family and children's services (child protective services) to be investigated. If the investigation finds that abuse did occur or there is a possibility of it occurring, a judge can deny visitation or order court supervised visitation. Child support can be ordered by the court with or without visitation rights being granted to the non-custodial parent.

Can a parent be taken to court for no visitation rights?

It's not the parent who decide whether there will be visitation rights or not, that is the court and a parent is not obligated to petition for one. A parent can not be forced to have a relationship with their child. Apart from paying child support.

What happens when you are paying child support but being denied visitation and your child resides in a different state?

The non-custodial parent should file for visitation rights for the child in the county where custody was given. If the parent who has custody of the child is preventing the non-custodial parent the right of visitation they can be found in contempt of court if visitation has already been established. If the custodial parent has too many repeated contempts filed against them, custody can be switched to the other parent.

Can a child refuse visitation with a parent in North Carolina?

What if non costodial parent does not follow visitation?

You have to file a motion for contempt in the court that issued the visitation order to have a judge review the situation and modify the visitation order if appropriate. The court cannot force a parent to visit with their child. However, if the non-custodial parent is trying to pick the child up during non-visitation hours or bringing the child back late, the court will impose further orders and likely modify the visitation order if the problem persists. If the child is prepared for visits and the parent fails to show up that is also extremely stressful for both child and custodial parent. If the parent continues to violate the order they can eventually lose their visitation rights.
