Answer 1:

yes there are positive results because of the industrial revolution.because of it people were made to think about their child labour laws and they invented new rules and regulations which stops the children nowadays from working like that and we all have more rights now.

Answer 2:

Given the population growth, there was real danger of mass starvation. The Industrial Revolution gave jobs to those - including children - who otherwise would have starved. As the economy grew, the need for children to work lessened, as their parents could afford to feed them.

Now, we live in a world where the poorest of us command more resources and power than kings of old. At the touch of buttons, information, music and plays appear on screens in our environmentally controlled homes. Foods from the world round, always in season, are affordable and easily stored. Machines we own can carry us at fantastic speeds any where in the nation. Cooking takes minutes, not a day. Plagues and mass starvation and slavery are strange evils of the past. Any injury less than the destruction of the brain has a good chance of being fixed. We can fly through the air, and study the distant planets with our robotic explorers. We carry communicators that let us speak to anyone on Earth. And all those things are just what the "poor" have.

The "cost" of this is that the chief complaint of the workers is that the work is boring and the average of thirty five hours a week is tiring.

What was a negative consequence of industrial revolution?

The industrial revolution began in England in the middle of the 18th century. The there were both positive and negative results concerning this new economic age. Speaking to the question regarding negatives of the industrial revolution there were many. And, the ones outlined here in England were similar to ones that occurred in other nations as the industrial revolution began in those countries. Due to various landowner friendly laws, many people left farming to find work in the factories in the larger cities. In the early years of the industrial revolution, the factory workers became completely dependent on the factory owners for their jobs and income. This dependency brought with it hardships for the workers. Wages were low and barely enabled workers to buy food and find adequate housing. The working day was extremely long, working hours of up to sixteen hours per day were not uncommon. Child labor became necessary for families to survive. The inherent problem with this aside from its cruelty was that factory owners were able to pay children less than regular workers causing additional social problems. Factories were unsafe, dimly lighted and work related accidents were common. And, as new technologies emerged, fewer workers were needed causing unemployment.
