If you are referring to "Soda Pop", or a carbonated beverage then in the United States it was 5 cents. The bottle however had to be returned. At a "Soda Fountain" it was 5 cents, and the portion was smaller.

In the early 60's, about 15 cents for a bottle of soda; with 3 cents allowed to return the bottle. It was common for kids back then to collect coke bottles to trade them for cash, the large bottle brought a nichol.
