Is it bad to take DMT?

Although DMT is not physically dangerous, it may cause difficult experiences which may lead to lasting anxiety, depression, etc. DMT can also cause a condition known as HPPD (hallucinogen persisting perception disorder), in which changes in perception remain after the expereince. Those under the influence of DMT can accidentally harm themselves or others, as well. So, DMT may be considered dangerous by some standards. Also, it should be noted that in many countries DMT is regulated and possession of this substance carries substantial legal risk.

Bad as in illegal: yes it is illegal

Bad healthwise: It is perfectly healthy and has no negative side affects if you make it right and use a vaporizer to smoke it. It actually is known for making drug addicts break their addictions, so one could say it has positive health affects.

No, DMT will not physically hurt you unless you take a dose to ridiculously high that the sheer mass will physically hurt you, so in short, no it won't, its is more likely to produce a positive life changing experience, unless you have something nasty inside, like guilt for having done something horribly evil.
