I have this problem to. It is mostly because you have been laying down to much and it causes your blood pressure to momentarily go way down. I suggest sitting up first, and then getting up more slowly.

You get dizzy when you get up too fast because when you are sitting down, all the the blood is in you arms and legs, but when you stand up really quick, all of the blood rushes to your head, therefore you either get a headache or get dizzy. Its basically the reaction to the speed of your blood movement.

usually people will feel dizzy when getting up from laying down the night or for a nap, because they are experiencing a drop in blood pressure. when you are laying down, your heart doesn't have to pump as hard to circulate blood throughout the body, but when you stand up it suddenly has to adjust to fight against gravity
dizziness can be caused by several different health problems. The most common is called Vertigo. Vertigo causes you to feel nauseous because of the dizziness. The only treatment for it, is to get your doctor to prescribe Meclizine for nausea and stay home and do not lean forward or move your head real fast. It will stop on its own. another cause of dizziness is from consuming too much alcohol.

It is quite common if you do stand up too fast but if you arent standing up fast it could be a number of things: - Low blood sugar level - Low blood pressure - Some heart problems - Pregnancy - Vertigo - Inner Ear problem - Drug use - Brain disorder - Anaemia Just to name a few. I wouldn't be too worried if you only feel dizzy for a quick second after standing up but if it is for quite some time and you find you are getting dizzy at other times I would recommend you see you G.P.

THE ANSWER:There IS no problem except for the fact that blood rushes out of your head so quickly that you get dizzy, and in fact may pass out. This happens because your brain needs blood or it will stop working. That's why if you lie down then get up too fast you get dizzy. That is ALSO why your eyes go 3/4ths blank after doing the same thing.Hope this answers your question,Kabob34
