If there is depression there is suicide idiation, with major depression every day is consumed by the idea. One will self medicate to escape the suffering, abuse then addiction and possibly overdose. Some who party know how and when to stop, depressed teens/people want to escape for more than just Saturday night, they want to escape the torture nobody understands. DEATH isn't what we really want, but we know our brains won't stop because our brains are ill and we just want it to stop, just stop....

Teens commit suicide in many different ways, but in many, if not most instances, teens do not truly want to kill themselves. In most cases, the teen desperately wants a way out of an intolerable situation and cannot imagine any thing else to do. The more important question is how we can provide safeguards and help so that teens never have to feel such pain and desperation.
Break-ups, depression, low self-esteem, lack of self confidence, hard times at home and school...all of these and more have major effects on teenagers. Depression, hormone rage, home environment, bipolar condition, drug abuse, alcohol abuse and many other conditions (like brain tumors) can cause teens to commit suicide. Teens want to be full adults when they have not become full, mature, wise adults. They make poor choices and let their FEELINGS rather than good sense and experience rule their thinking and behavior. Some teens are well bread and in good health and they don't have to contend with the problems of teens who are suicidal teens. Many see life as having no hope and good future for them. So they end it all. Some suicide attempts are actually a cry for help when no one is paying attention to their needs.
There are many reasons why people choose to commit suicide. They feel lonely, depressed, different. They could be under a tremendous amount of stress and may feel that if they kill themselves it will all go away. Well, of course, each teen in different, and in a different state of mind etc. Depending on what has drove them to suicide, depends on how they do it, but a magority of suicidal teens commit suicide when they are on their own, regardless of wheather they are in a public place or not.
