∙ 12y agomicro scratches in the nail itself. These can be caused by all sorts of things, like filing your nail in different directions, not filing them at all, naturally brittle nails, etc. to prevent this get tons of calcium by consuming dark leafy greens and yogurt.
A homemade recipe to get rid of this problem somewhat is to use:
Bitter Butter Nail Soak:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon appple cider vinegar
PREPERATION
in a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for 1 to 2 seconds. mix in the vinegar
APPLICATION:
test the butter to be certain it's not too hot. soak your fingers in this for 10 minutes. then wipe off with a warm cloth
