There is no one normal temperature, rather a normal temperature range.

The age-specific reference ranges of "normal oral temperature" from a study of students using data from 46,783 temperature readings were:

≤12 years old: 35.7 to 37.7 Celsius (96.26 to 99.86 Fahrenheit)
>12 years old: 35.6 to 37.4 Celsius (96.08 to 99.32 Fahrenheit)

it all depends on the person some people have a naturally warmer or cooler body temp. but it should be some where sort of close to 98.6
