If you are calling a GP to request a prescription refill you will have to call the GP's office and tell the receptionist that their patient needs a prescription refill.
If you are receiving a verbal order over the phone for a new prescription then you will have to refer to the professional training you received to legally be able to do so. Ensuring all the elements of a proper order are received and verbally repeating the order back are important.
