You will feel loer pains in your tummy. Some people experience mood swings and even feel very tired. Everyone is different. Your muscles could sore and you might have some leg cramps. You may also see some blood in your underware. don't freak out, it just means you are growing up and are starting your period. These are some signs of a period. There could be more, but from me to you this is what i have experianced. I hope i was helfull.

This discharge will usually be heavy enough to leave smears on toilet paper and underwear. If there is discomfort with urination, it is not likely a period, but rather a urinary tract infection.

For me, my first period was bright red and gooey. icky. i know.
