You will be called into the exam room and asked to strip to your underwear. The doc will come in and ask questions about your medical history. They will check your eyes and ears and listen to your chest. Then they will feel your abdomen. If you are a guy You will be asked to remove your underwear. If you are a guy The doc will feel your testicles to check for cancer and ask you to cough while putting his finger by your balls. They will measure your testicles to determine your sexual maturity. Most guys get a boner, witch is totally natural, so don't worry. If you are a girl you will take of your bra and the doc will feel your breasts. If you are sexually active they may give you a pelvic exam.

They usually check your vision, hearing, and check reflexes and make sure everything on your body is functioning as it should. They might feel different areas of your body for abnormalities. They also might ask you general questions about your health and do lab tests by taking blood and/or urine samples.

That would depend on where you are at in your pregnancy. In the first trimester they will most likely do at least one sonogram and check your baby's heart beat. In the second trimester you will typically have one last sonogram {around 20 weeks} and they will monitor the baby's heart beat as well. In the third trimester they will continue to monitor the baby's heart beat but they will measure the your stomach to ensure that you are measuring where you should.

At all your appointments you can expect to give a urine specimen, have your weight and blood pressure checked. They will prick your finger to test your iron levels occasionally.

A physical exam will normally check your height and weight ratio. The blood pressure will be taken and a peek down the throat and in the ears may be done. The doctor may want to run some routine blood tests to check for Thyroid and kidney function as well as liver and electrolytes. The doctor will likely listen to the heart and lungs with his stethoscope and maybe even check out the reflexes.

Not all doctors will do all these tests, it will vary depending on the doctor.
