aids affects the body of a human being, it destroys the immune system of the body which prevents us from being sick, by doing this act, different diseases are attracted to our bodies, this makes the body of the human weak and the human starts loose weight, looses appetite, diarrhoea and also looses his or her hair.

In five or more years, without treatment, the victim dies.

HIV in other word Human Immunodeficiency Virus is a virus that attacks the immune system. This bug has special chemical hooks (GP120) that connect to the the receptors on our CD4 cells (the cells that help you fight against diseases).

HIV enters the body and connects to the CD4 cell receptors (CCRX5 and CD4). This allows the virus' capsid to enter the cell. The capsid contains 3 enzymes, and RNA strands.

Once the capsid is inserted into the cell it changes the human genome by using 2 enzymes. These are the Reverse Transcriptase (RT for short) and Integrase. Reverse transcriptase makes the single RNA strand suitable for our double stranded DNA.

After this step the enzyme Integrase then inserts the viral information into the Human DNA. Once inserted our cell becomes the 'Virus Factory'. However, our genome obviously contains our genes so when constructing a virus it is not perfect. This is why the third enzyme is crucial, Protease. As you know Protease breaks down proteins, so when there is excess protein on a virus this enzyme will 'snip' off the bits that isn't needed.

This is why scientists say that viruses are not living because they cannot survive without a host cell.
The virus invades cells of the body and causes the cell to manufacture copies of the invading virus. Then the bodies' immune system can't cope with the huge number of virus particles and starts to attack the normal systems of the body.
HIV- attack and kill crucial immune system cells of your body.

the virus takes over your T cells and reproduces and creates more viruses, which attack more more t cells.

t cells are behind immunization to diseases and viruses and without them, your body becomes more prone to sickness and slowly shuts down.

HIV is a virus that attacks cells in the body that fight disease. HIV attaches to cells in the human body, enters the cell and then uses parts of it to replicate. Over the course of time if left untreated, there will be increasing amounts of virus that will result in fewer healthy, disease-fighting cells in the body.

If left untreated, HIV can cause a person to develop AIDS. AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) is a serious diagnosis given to an HIV+ person when their immune system reaches a critical risk level.

When the HIV virus enters the body, it attacks the cells of the body that are designed to protect us from disease. Once these cells are killed off, the body is unable to fight off infections.

In time, the person will develop certain diseases. For example, there is a condition called PCP which is a type of pneumonia that most often affects people with AIDS. There is also a condition called kaposi's sarcoma, a type of cancer, that affects people with AIDS.
