3 days delay in the period is nothing to be worried at all.It could be due to stress, disturbed sleep, change in diet,changes in your working hrs etc etc. Anything can delay a period including stress, change in diet, change in exercise, any change which could cause you stress. Pregnancy may not always be the case for a missed period, however you should test just to be sure (wait a week).

∙ 18y agoYou may be having irregularities associated with hormonal changes. However a lot more need to be taken into consideration before adequately answering your question. For example ; how old are you? is this a first occurrence? If not how frequently does this happen. Your best bet is to go to a knowledgeable gynecologist and meanwhile read up on PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) the information may be very helpful.

∙ 15y agounless you are going through menopause peerhaps you shoul go and see a doctor about it. Yes - you should see a doctor. Often times you don't have a period if you are malnourished (haven't eaten enough food), or if you are a very vigorous athelete.

∙ 15y agoIt can be cause by Birth Control. Another potential cause is dietary. If one is low in weight or as Olympic Athletes in regards to body fat ratios it can also cause this to happen. So low body fat can cause a period to not appear.
