Not exactly.... but Sudafed contains pseudoephedrine, which is very similar to methamphetamine in molecular structure. Don't get too excited though, the drug is designed to not get into your brain, so it will not cause any of the dangerous or abusive effects that meth can cause. It will clear your nose quite well though!

my husband has tested positive for amphetame, he has been taking different cold meds and a inhaler for his asm. or symptons could that be making test positive/

it is possible but very unlikely that medication contains amphetamine. to make sure if this is the case look up the substances that are in the medication and see if they are an amphetamine or related.

There are currently no over-the-counter cold medicines that contain amphetamines. This ingredient use to be very common in cold medications but it is no longer being used.
