Everyone defines the "bases" differently, but here are 2 of the most common:

1st Base - Kissing. (Kissing with tongues, also known as French Kissing.)

2nd Base - Touching. (Girl touches/gives hand job to penis, boy fingers or touches vagina and/or breasts.)

3rd Base - Oral sex. (Girl sucks boy's penis, boy eats out [licking] girl's vagina.)

4th Base (Home Run) - Sexual intercourse. (Penis in vagina.)

Another account is:

1. Kissing

2. Shirts off

3. Pants off

4. Sex

First base : a beginning of a relationship. Many people can get there in many ways. a good solid hit, a quick bunt or can be out of pity.

second base : the toughest part. either make it, or can't. a slight mistake, and you lose the chance to advance to the next step, and the position you held before. be VERY careful.

Third base : easy to get to. but should be wary of her reactions. because she will notice all the new couples in the first and second base, and will miss her beginning days. make sure you tell her how much you love her, and if you still haven't, a jewelery is a must.

Home: okay, you've done pretty much everything. congrats. get married.
