Its hard to find a straight answer to this question so I will just give you my personal experience. As A male to female transsexual, I have been on hormones for several months and I had quite smoking before I started, but I did start again. Before starting again I could feel my nipples getting itchy the first sign of growth, but since Ive started again it has gone away. I quite again a few weeks ago and the itchiness has returned and Ive started to notice some changes. I'm not a doctor and I don't know for sure that the smoke was affecting it, but it seems to have had an effect on me. My advice is that you quite smoking just in case it dose have some effect.
