Never! If you think you are pregnant do not take ANY hormone medications (like Birth Control.) It is best not to take any medications at all until you have confirmed the pregnancy with a doctor and gotten medical advice on what is safe to take. The earlier in the pregnancy the more dangerous it is to expose the baby to chemicals. So, it is better to be too cautious than not cautious enough. (Besides, if you are already pregnant, what do you need birth control for? :)

Hi, Your question is: What is the risk of taking birth control if you may be pregnant? There are several risks associated with taking birth control during pregnancy. These risks are: * Miscarriage * Stillbirth * Embryo development * Damage physically/mentally to the developing child. If you suspect you may be pregnant then stop taking birth control and consult with your Doctor Who will perform a urine or blood pregnancy test to determine if you're pregnant. Ask your DR specifically for Quantitative beta hcg pregnancy blood test as this can be performed 7 days after conception has occurred and is 100% accurate. Please note this is advice only and should not be used in place of medical expertise.

Before you stop taking birth control, get confirmation that you are pregnant! You will show up as pregnant regardless of the pill's presence and it won't hurt the baby. If your home pregnancy test shows up as not pregnant and you seriously think you are, go to your doctor's office and have them do another test.

I'm not an expert, but in my opinion if you have any reason at all to believe that you're pregnant then I would recommend that you stop taking the pills just in case you are pregnant, and stop having sex until you know for sure if you're pregnant or not. *** The Pill is not a 100% guarantee that you can not get pregnant. If you think you are pregnant I would stop taking the pill and see your doctor. While you are not taking the pill you should use a condom during any sexual intercourse you have - there is no need to stop having sex. If it is determined you are not pregnant you may start your pill again but continue to use condoms for at least two weeks. Only on rare occasions have pregnant women actually had their period during pregnancy.

No you discontinue taking birth control pills when you become pregnant. Birth control is a method used to prevent pregnancy. You are already pregnant so birth control has no use. Also, it may possibly cause bad side effects to continue taking birth control pills while you are pregnant.

The birth control pill will not harm or end an existing pregnancy. If you have a positive pregnancy test, there is no need to continue taking the pill. Stopping the pill on a hunch has no benefit, and could result in pregnancy. In contrast to the information given below, a home pregnancy test is sufficient; there is no benefit to "seeing your doctor" if you think you might be pregnant. But do contact your health care provider if the birth control pill is difficult for you to remember, or if you need a method with the highest level of protection.

Can taking tylex pain killers while pregnant affect babies eyes?

I really don't think you should use this type of pain killer while pregnant. I became dependant on this drug as a form of pain relief as i had suffered from strong headaches. I then realised i was pregnant but continued my "one a day habit" I miscarried at 11 weeks and i strongly think the drug tylex played some part in this. The reason i think this is, is because i got pregnant soon after and DID NOT use tyles as a form of pain relieve but simply used Panadol and had a healthy baby girl. Im not blaming the drug completely for me loosing my first baby but i do honostly think it played a major part in it. My advise is DO NOT USE THIS DRUG AS A FORM OF PAIN RELIEF I SIMPLY WOULD NOT TRUST IT. I hope i was of some help to you.
