But at age 9 some girls have started having periods, and when you do, you are able to get pregnant. But a nine year old should NOT be having sex. If you are that young and have been having sex, please stop! You have a whole childhood to enjoy. Please don't ruin it by getting involved in sex so young.

Yes. I remember reading about a girl from Columbia who was pregnant at age 5. BUT, keep in mind that she had a disorder in which she went through puberty far, far sooner than she should have. Essentially, if a girl has gotten her first period, then she is fertile.

The first and most obvious reason why this would be exceedingly unlikely to happen is that very few girls have done more than begin puberty at age nine. For a girl to have a baby, she must be ovulating - the obvious sign that this is happening is that she is having periods. If she has not had a period, she cannot have a baby. Secondly if such a pregnancy did occur, it would never be allowed to continue. The amount of strain that carrying a baby to term would place on such a young body is horrifying - it is extremely unlikely that she would be physically large enough to bring a pregnancy to term, and even less likely that she would be able to give birth naturally. If she was to become pregnant, the best option in everybody's interests would probably be the termination of the pregnancy. Thirdly, even if by some miracle a nine-year-old girl managed to get pregnant and carry the pregnancy to term, she would not be allowed to keep the baby. A nine-year-old would not be seen to have the physical and emotional maturity to look after a baby, especially since she would be years away from finishing her compulsory education. It's also highly likely she would be removed from the parents who allowed her to become pregnant in the first place, as nine is well below the legal age of consent for sexual activity in every country I can think of, and would almost certainly be classed as rape of a minor.

Any boy of any age who can produce sperm is capable of getting a girl pregnant. It only takes one sperm to fuse with a fertile egg for a girl to become pregnant and it doesn't matter who the sperm came from or how it reached the egg. Most 9 year old boys cannot produce sperm but some can.
