Yes! It will show as an opiate, which that is what herion shows as. To find out exactly what you are testing positive for, the urine has to be sent to a lab, but the basic test for opiates will be positive from taking a vicodin( hydrocodone), Oxycontin, Tylenol 3 & 4, herion, and so on...

∙ 15y agoThey are both classed as opiates. However, heroin is a derivative of morphine. Which is produced from a plant. The Opium Poppy. While hydrocodone is a synthetic, made in a laboratory. Both are used to reduce pain, get "high" and are physically addictive. Heroin's effects are stronger but diminish quickly. In the United States heroin has no legal use. While hydrocodone is prescribed regularly for mild pain.

∙ 14y agoNo. Heroin and Hydrocodone contain different chemicals, produce different effects and are made differently. The only relation to the to is the fact that they are Opiates, which means they come from the poppy plant.
