tetanus shots are given intramuscularly. its can be given on arm, buttock and thigh. it is best to be given on arms bcos after injection ther will be a lot ofpain for few days.. it vl be hard to move.. and also its more safe. it is always better to avoid buttock area bcos it can cause damage to sciatic nerve also the pain can cause difficulty in walking, siting etc. for smaller children below the age of 5-6 , its given in thigh bcos their arms doesnt have enough flesh.

so in short best site for tetanus shot is : arm for adults and thigh for children.
