No, Dilantin is a brand name of the drug phenytoin used to treat seizures. Benzodiazepines are used to treat anxiety. In some cases benzodiazepines are prescribed for muslce spasms and epilepsy (the conditions that might also be treated with Dilantin), but Dilantin is not a benzodiazepine.
