Did you know? that a man produces 100 million sperm cells every 24 hours and that over the course of a lifetime he produces over 400 billion. And that with the average ejaculation he "spills out" 300 million sperm. (source: NOVA: "The Miracle of Life" - The first filmed record of human conception, photographed by Lennart Nilsson, 1982 Swedish Television Corporation).

However, I did some of my own calculations and discovered that 400 billion divided by 100 million per day is 4000 days, and 4000 days divided by 365 days per year = 11 years production of sperm. That is hardly a lifetime? That only gets a man from about age 13 to age 24. Either they calculated wrong and the sperm count is about 6 times that high (3 trillion) or else they aren't telling us that sperm production goes way down with age. But if 400 billion sperm only gets us to age 24 (at 100 million produced daily from age 13 lets say) what happens after age 24? I think the sperm count is much higher than NOVA is leading us on to believe.

This varies greatly depending on how fertile the man is, and when they started puberty. The average volume of ejaculate is between 2 and 6ml. So if we call it 4 for arguments sake, multiply this by the amount of times the average male ejaculates a week - we shall call this 3 out of 7 days.

So, 3 days a week of ejaculating 4ml of semen = 12ml a week

If the average male is sexually active from age 14 until 60, that's around 2500 weeks (give or take). So, 2500 weeks, ejaculating 12ml a week is 30,000ml, or 30 litres.

Remember, this will vary greatly depending on how much he ejaculates, how often, and how early he started ejaculating.
