Yes, it makes is sting much less. The exact amounts to mix are on the package insert. Of course, this is for IM use, not IV. You would not want to mix it that way for IV use.
I have a toothache myself and have been using v- lidocaine. It seems to work when it is rubbed in or left on the affected tooth for at least 5 min. I wouldn't suggest swallowing it, it feels weird having a numb throat and mouth at the same time. You may also try swishing it around, and from what i have read it is fairly safe if swallowed. good luck.
I have Strep throat and my doctor prescribed it to me yesterday. Directions say to mix with half cup water, gargle and spit out. Doesn't seem to be working very well for me.
Yes it can and very often it does get mixed with procaine, benzocaine, lidocaine, etc. It;s pften cut with these agents because they also have the ability to be freebased, and the have similar numbing properties.
It is a topical cream used mainly for neurological pain. It is a compounded mixture of Ketamine, Gabapentin, Clonidine, and Lidocaine. It is available by prescription and you have to go to a specialty phamacy to have it filled, because it is a compounded prescription and the pharmacist has to mix the ingediants together.
