How long does pubic hair grow?

It is different for each person but they can grow anywhere from 2 to four inches long. Women might find it more comfortable (and cool in the summer) to keep them trimmed.
It really does not mater some leave it alone and some shave it regularly.

Early on in puberty the first true pubic hairs appear (this is called stage 2 of Puberty in the Tanner System). At first there are just a few long hairs close to the base of the penis. In stage 3 the coverage of the hair extends and gets thicker. During stage 4 further spread and thickening of the growth means that an almost adult pattern has developed. The Tanner system ends at stage 5, when pubic hair should now have spread to the inner thighs. In general puberty in boys lasts for on average around 6 years. However, even after puberty has finished you may find that the hair on your body still continues to spread. Boys usually develope a thin line of hairs which stretches from the pubic area up to their navel. This hair can eventualy spread to cover the entire area around the navel and may link up to any growth of chest hair, if that occurs (some people grow chest hair while others do not).

What he or she said is not true i was about 15 years old when i got pubic hair don't worry.
