24 hours after initial consumption of methadone you should be able to get high off heroin. Methadone is an extremely potent drug which should not be mixed with other chemicals especially those containing opiates.

∙ 12y agoBoth suboxone and methadone are addictive opiates.....to get off heroin , stop using heroin.....it only hurts for 3-5 days, but think of the freedom and all the money you will have when you quit .......you won't die when you quit , only wish you were dead....but if you get started on methadone or suboxone you will be addicted to either for at least a year then when you stop, you just go through withdrawals from those 2 government scams

This is because methadone is a full opiate while Suboxone is a partial opiate. So if you take Suboxone and then Methadone, you will either feel the methadone or feel nothing(depending on your Suboxone dose) BUT if you take Methadone,especially for a long period of time, and then take Suboxone, God have mercy on you, it can throw you into AWS(Acute Withdrawal Syndrome) and its like a flu times 10 with insomnia
