take it daily, in higher doses. as many times per day as you can without dying. do it daily for a month and try to quit cold turkey. i would not say this is a smart thing to do. it is painful and expensive as hell.

weening yourself off of heroin is nearly impossible, due to the fact that most heroin addicts are constantly chasing a high. however, if SWIY's willpower is at a level where he believes weening from heroin is possible, simply lower your daily dose to an amount where you aren't high but aren't sick. after a few days, go from daily use to every-other-day use, continuing to lower your dose. after a few days of every other day, one should be using the small amount only 2-3 times a week. please note that it is -impossible- to beat withdrawals completely, there is no easy way out of opiate addiction. you will still feel crappy for some time, but by lowering your dose in the way i mentioned above, your withdrawal will be dramatically minimalized.
