∙ 9y agoIt depends on the person. Most people, 2-6 + milligrams, depending on their tolerance to benzodiazapines, alchohol, & barbiturates (all have a cross tolerance). All benzodiazapines have the potential for abuse; it is up to the user to do as the doctor intends the patient to use the medication otherwise addiction is a very real possibility.
