To take half of a capsule of a medication, you will need a clean, sharp knife or a pill cutter. Place the capsule on a flat surface and carefully cut it in half using the knife or pill cutter. Make sure to do this task gently and precisely to avoid spilling the contents of the capsule. It is important to consult a healthcare professional before altering the dosage of any medication.

You can open the capsule. Pour the powder on small and clean paper. Divide the same into two parts. Put the half into the capsule back. Rest of the poweder may be taken with honey in most of the cases or you may have to discard the same. Next time you may take the capsule.

The best way I have found to do this is empty the capsule onto a plate, divide the contents into 2 equal lines. Take one line and scoop the other back into the capsule.
