Acknowledge your past mistakes and decide to have learned from them. If you keep doing different, out of character things, you will not be scared to do something different in the future. Force yourself to not be scared of the unknown, The fear of embarrassment can hold you back from the things you want to do.
If anyone makes fun of you, their either just jealous or just big meanies. Don't let it get to you. You are who you are and you shouldn't let anyone change you.

8) Watch T.V., or listen to music, or dance, or play an instrument, or SOMETHING to help keep you relaxed and your mind off stress.
9) Give yourself 7-8 hours of sleep every night.
In order to improve your self confidence you have to start thinking more positively about yourself. Is there anything that you are good at? Are you a nice person, do you help others, would you be willing to help others? I'm sure you can list a few good things about yourself. Focus on the good. Then get out there in the world and start talking to people. Look people in the eye when you speak with them and hold your head up high. Remember, no one is perfect. Everyone has flaws. You are just as good as anyone else.
For me self confidence comes with exposure, listening to people/friends around me. Self confidence is Sports is being prepared to the sport we play in. Physical workouts, well equipped with required sports gear, combined with listening to friends/coach/co-players for positive intent. Dedication and Hardwork will help
