Suboxone: Doctor-prescribed drug that DRASTICALLY reduces heroin withdrawl symptoms. Can often be found on the street, sold by the same drug dealers that sell heroin, for about $10-$15 a 8mg pill,

Methadone: Liquid or pill form: usually administered at clinics "Meth Clinics" under medical or couselor's care. Designed for a long-term wean off of heroin. Unlike suboxone, methadone CAN get you high, but most addicts dont feel a high but rather a relief from any dope-sickness.

Cold-Turkey: Sometimes the only option, if out of resources or in jail (or likewise in solitude). The good news is that heroin withdrawl CANNOT kill you. The flu-like symptomswill recede within a week but during the detox look for diahhrea, hot/cold flashes, irritability, loss of appetite, and sleeplessness.

Have heard that mega amounts of Vitamin C will ease heroin withdrawal pains.Probably sodium ascorbate chewables would be good.Dr.Irwin Stone used up to 25 grams throughout the day with good results.Cream of tartar and/or chewing cinnamon sticks may help but I think the Vitamin C method is best.Van Carman
