i spent most my life skinny, being a 6ft male avg 10 stone...140lbs. I then stopped smoking and hit the gym... I was hungry more often. I am now 13 stone and well built. Generally if your naturally thin you need to exercise and eat at the same time otherwise like me you will just eat a load and nothing will happen.
Try and do an hour a day of exercise( some aerobic some weights). Don't eat junk just stick to meat and veg!
No special diet is needed just three square meals a day DONT MISS BREAKFAST.
and don't sit on your ass all the time.........walking ain't no good nor is geeking out on a game.

I have struggled with this problem myself, and I'll tell you, food alone is not going to help that much. However, since you are asking about food, i suggest that you eat 500 more calories than what you normally do. Now eating 500 more calories doesn't mean you have to eat more sugar, and fat. There are plenty of foods like peanut butter and crackers that have calories but not so much sugar and fat. So do that. And also if you can incorporate working out into your life, you will gain more weight, because muscle weighs more than fat. GOOD LUCK!

steak, pork chops, hamburger meat, chicken, ect. Also protien or foods that have a lot of protien in them like the ones listed or peanut butter and things of that nature.
