∙ 13y agoNo, it does not. Sumatriptan is an anti-migraine medication which acts on blood vessels to abort a migraine before it's set in. There are pills available which combine a triptan with an ant-iinflammatory medication, but sumatriptan itself does not have any known anti-inflammatory effects.

∙ 12y agoI'm going to try to fight back the urge to patronize you, but no promises. If you had looked up "sumatriptan" before formulating this question (why you wouldn't have done the easier of the two first I don't understand), you would see that it is a specific chemical compound, as is caffeine. Asking if one compound contains another is like asking if water contains benzene, or if oxygen contains sulfur. In short, no. Do your homework next time.
