If on the medication bottle, it says " Keep refrigerated". Or otherwise ask a pharmacist or the Doctor Who prescribed the medication.

There is no good answer to this question, and you cannot trust the drug company to be candid about it because they would rather your medications expire so you have to buy replacements. One big concern about refrigerating (or freezing) medications is condensation. When a cold pill is exposed to room temperature, water vapor will condense on it. This is a big reason people are told not to refrigerate medications.

Some medications need to be refrigerated to keep them as a the state where they are affective for their intended use. When they get too hot or cold chemical reactions take place, bonds break down, ect. the medication may work differently or not at all.

Heat tend to spoil many organic molecules.Temperature in fridge is about 8 degree centigrade and good for all sort of medicines. So store them in the door of fridge but never in ice compartment unless specifically instructed to do so. Bacterial activity is highest at or above body temperature. You must be storing vegetables also in fridge. It prolongs there shelf life. You do not store any of them in fridge(Ice) compartment. It may destroy the molecule. If you store the vegetables in ice compartment they will be alright, till you keep them there. Once you take them out they will get rotten in very short time.
