well for me they did because they messed up with the numbing stuff but if they don't they should not hurt but the injury that causes it does hurt. and it depends on the person when u get them taken out
I don't know if you are asking why it would hurt, or if it does actually hurt, so I'll address both. Stitches may or may not hurt while removed, depending on the type of injury and the quality of healing of the injury. Most of the time, it doesn't really hurt as much as it itches when they are removed (a side-effect of the swelling of the tissue around the injury, and histamine, which is a fluid the body releases into the tissue in order to facilitate healing. It's also the chemical that causes you to sneeze when you have Allergies). It COULD hurt when stitches are removed, for a couple of reasons. First, if you have an injury in a highly vascular area (one with a lot of bloodflow), it could be that the swelling around where the injury is healing is compressing on nerves, which could cause pain. The other main reason it could hurt is that the injury has become infected and, thus, more inflammed than it should be. This would cause noticeable redness and tenderness around the area--and, in the case of progressive infection, could also cause red streaking under the skin in the immediate area of the injury. It would likely also cause some puss discharge. A less-likely reason the stitches hurt when removed could be that they were either placed incorrectly or are being removed incorrectly. If done by a medical professional, this is quite unlikely, but not impossible.
When you get stiches taken out, it doesnt hurt much, but you can feel a small pinch evert now and then. I know because i broke my arm 4 times and the very first time i got stiches. Then i broke the other arm three times and on the third time my arm needed stiches.
well if you want an answer so bad youll get one. i think that it matters where the stitches are but from my experience it doesnt hurt but you will feel the thread being pulled from your skin
No, you don't feel a thing.
no, you shouldn't feel anything.
Nope.
To some extent it will for a second. When stitches are removed there is a little tug of the stitch as it is taken out. You can feel it, but it isn't as bad as when the stitch was put in. I had 8 taken out recently and was glad to have them out since they started to pull a little on the area where they were.
stitches are points and the verb to take out is enlever
If you do not clean the stitches, I would not be supised if the stitches got infected or if your cat was not careful and they caught on something.
NO it might actually feel better
well it takes about a week to get the stitches out. I got mine taken out after a week.
If you mean stitches then no. They usually numb the area before.
They are basting stitches which can easily be taken out at a later time. they are longer than the normal stitches
No I would say not because it was just stitches being taken out so it shouldn't
It depends on the type of stitches they used, but more often times than not, they dissolve.
