The are several cell types in blood. One of these types of cells are the Red Blood Cells. The red blood cells perform several functions, including carrying oxygen from the lungs. Doctors routinly measure the number of red blood cells (and other cell types, like white blood cells and platelets) in a small sample of blood taken from a person. This is reported as a concentration commonly referred to as the red blood cell count. Typically men do have a higher concentration of red blood cells than women do. But this is affected by many conditions in both health and disease.
Males generally have larger bodies, and more muscle mass. The higher demand for oxygen is met by a higher RBC count. Additionally, the male hormone, testosterone, also stimulates production of RBCs.
yes men do have more blood cells than women because men tend to be bigger than women so they have larger veins and therefore have more blood (cells). Men also have more brain cells than women of which there is no scientific excuse for this, it has just been proved by microscopes and other equipment.
it depends on size weight muscle and a bunch more
Men are larger and typically have more muscle mass and androgens stimulate RBC production.
Males generally have larger bodies with more cells needing oxygen than females. Also, males do not menstruate, during which females lose blood.
This is mostly because women regularly lose them when menstruating.
Your sexuality has nothing to do with your hormone/testosterone level.
Women with severe menstrual pain have higher levels of prostaglandin in their menstrual blood than women who do not have such pain.
Because a hormone testosterone secreted only in males is also responsible for stimulation of hormone erythropoetin secreted from kidneys. Erythropoetin is responsible for synthesis of rbcs. So males have higher hematocrit than that of females. Women have estrogen! It is a natural inhibitor of erythropoitin (a hormone secreted by the kidneys to erythropoiesis in the bone marrow), on the other hand, testosterone is an activator.
red blood cells normally make up about 40% of blood volume. it can raise in situations, for ex. someone living in higher elevations would be expected to have a higher red blood cell count than someone living at sea level (due to reduced O2 levels).
The higher levels are stronger than the low ones, because if you compare there health, mana, and melees are huge in number and that's why no one can defeat the higher levels.
