∙ 15y agoTramadol does not contain paracetomol but Tramacet does. Before taking multiple drugs at any one time it is always best to consult your doctor or pharmacist for further advice but be careful not to confuse the two drugs above. Tramacet contains both tramadol and paracetomol so one can only presume that it is pretty safe to take both tramadol and paracetomol together.

∙ 11y agoYes, you can. Taking paracetamol improves the effect of paracetamol, which is why they give you both in hospital. However, I wouldn't take tramadol at all, without checking with a doctor first.

Yes there is no problem in taking paracetamol with this medication, as long as there's no paracetamol/acetaminophen associated with your tramadol.

Tramadol is a very strong pain killers and I would not recommend you take it with Codeine or Paracetamol as Tramadol already contains Paracetamol and will increase your risk of experiencing unpleasant side effects. I would recommend you continue taking your Paracetamol or Codeine every 4-6 hours as prescribed and take your last dose before bed. The next day, begin taking Tramadol but at a low dose, for example only 1 pill because Tramadol can also have some unpleasant side effects.
