You don't have to wait methadone is an opiate. It will work just the same as heroin. Its not like suboxone.
I am on methadone and have been for years. I am also taking college courses, one being Psych Substance Abuse and Addiction. The answer is until the methadone is out of your system. It may take days, weeks, or months. For me, it would take months, but if you took methadone but you're not used to taking it, probably a few days or so. Methadone does block the effects of heroin, which is why a lot of people use the methadone maintenance treatment programs. If I were to try to use heroin tomorrow, it would just be a waste of time and money because I wouldn't even feel it, and I would hella pissed, which is the purpose of it blocking the heroin. The withdrawal from methadone can take weeks or months, and it's more intense than heroin.
There is no cure heroin addiction you have to go cold turkey without heroin for 7-10 days which is arguably the most hardest thing anyone will do in there life or you can take methadone which acts on the dopamine receptors which gives the feeling of pleasure like heroin but after your not addicted to heroin anymore the chances are you will be addicted to methadone which trying to stop that addiction takes months of pain and agony, so just don't do it hope this helped
No, or at least you shouldn't. If you take heroin then shortly after take Suboxone, it should put you into instant withdrawal from the Suboxone "kicking" the heroin molecules off of the opioid receptors. If you take Suboxone then shortly after take heroin, it should completely block the effects of the heroin.
alcohol ,benzos, and methadone are all downers and then you got the coke it a upper so you Will have more of a drunk feeling til you do the coke and you will be on an upper until it wheres of in which you need to take no and i mean no more methadone and quit drinking and put the coke down if in an hour your still wound up take one benzo and sleep it off .
No, Methadone will block the effects of heroin.
Methadone will block the effects of heroin which will make it pointless to use heroin if you are taking methadone.
heroin

Methadone
it is highly addictive. imagine something that is able to take away heroin withdrawals. that is what methadone is & what it does.
No, methadone will take away the heroin withdrawals and is also used to treat withdrawals caused by other opiates.
This is extremely dangerous as when you take methadone it blocks the receptors in your brain that allow people to get high from heroin, so when people take heroin after they have taken methadone they get no extra buzz from the heroin just the negative effects of having heroin in the body, mixing these can result in coma and severe respiratory distress Also, if you are a recovering addict/infrequent user, then you will have no tolerance to opium. This can result in a dangerous miscalculation and the consequences are deadly. Also avoid benzodiazapines such as rohypnol, valium, clonazepam and temazepam to name a few
generally no, but it depends on the amount of methadone you take... if you have a low tollerance and you take 4 methadone 10's, then you will nod off and feel very heavy as like heroin... hope this helps...

absolutely not. Methacarbamol is a muscle relaxer. methadone is what heroin addicts take to kick the habit.
Methadone is a narcotic pain reliever, similar to morphine. It also reduces withdrawal symptoms in people addicted to heroin or other narcotic drugs without causing the "high" associated with the drug addiction.
