(There are some species of grass that contain the psychedelic DMT, ie Pharlaris arundinacea, but they also have poisonous compounds so attempting to smoke them is not advisable.)

Smoking weed is actually very good for you, it makes you creative, light hearted, non violent, sleepy and hungry.

The only reason weed is illegal is because hemp is the stongest material in the world, thus putting large corporations out of business. It's all about money.

Marrijuanna is something that everyone should do and it should be legal.

EVERYONE SMOKES WEED. I smoke weed every day and I own my own successful business. I am a responsible, quiet person and I am not crazy from smoking weed. I am coherent, able to read and write better than most people who don't smoke weed and a contributing member of society.

Personally, if I had teenagers I would encourage them to smoke weed instead of drink alcohol. Parents- smoke some yourself. Have a smoke with your teenager if you discover them smoking weed. Understand that it is not threatening at all and it is not a 'gateway drug' that theory is so stupid.

Weed is the LAST thing to worry about with all the other drugs out there.

I'll leave you with a little fact: over three thousandpeople die every year from alcohol related incidences in Australia alone, however there is not one death from marrijuanna. NOT ONE. You couldn't overdose on weed if you tried. Worst thing that could happen is you vomit once.

The active component of marijuana, THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is chemically an alcohol in nature, and therefore causes many effects similar to drinking Alcoholic Beverages. A2. The typical tobacco cigarette will make you high. Tobacco (nicotine primarily) is a central nervous stimulant and also signals the brain to release endorphins, this causes a stimulant/euphoric effect. If you become addicted to being a regular smoker, your tolerance will eventually go up to the point where you will no longer feel this high, and some users I have talked to seemed to forget the high was ever present, except when they think back hard in memory and "remember it happening".

As for smoking itself, does not make you high, the only way smoking in and of itself can do that is if you do it so much you don't breathe, at which point you will get light headed and possibly hallucinate if you let yourself continue not to breathe in air. This is extremely dangerous though, in terms of danger, you'd probably be better off taking 2 hits of LSD in a knife store (something else I highly don't reccomend)
