It's always a good idea to use a condom during anal sex since the fecal bacteria is not something you want up your urethra and cause infections. It's also much easier to get STI's through anal since the muscle is not naturally lubricated and more sensitive and fragile then the vagina. Basically just make sure the semen don't reach the vagina.
