∙ 15y agothis is the time when you have ovulation. there may still be some old blood left over from your period and the cervix opens up during ovulation to allow sperm to enter. at this time the body makes lots of slippery mucus to help the sperm get to the egg. sometimes the mucas gets clumpy. i noticed this every month I wasn't pregnant during the 35 years i was fertile. :)

If it is implantation bleeding it may be bright pink or dark brown and only enough to be considered 'spotting' and not a period. If it is heavy bleeding it is not implantation bleeding.
