It depends on what your definition of strongest is. If you're referring to subjective effects then dose is the key variable. If you mean potency then yes, LSD is one of the most potent drugs as it's active in the microgram (ug) range. There are much more potent substances (opiates active at 1ug) than LSD.

LSD is classified as a Schedule 1 drug (high potential for abuse and no medical use) by the federal government and thus possession is a crime. Each state makes their own laws about drugs, most follow the federal government, but some recognize medical use.

It depends on what drugs you mean. If you mean illegal drugs, then quite a few of them start as natural plants. If you mean medications, then most of those are synthetic, though the ideas often came from plants.

So overall, yes, most drugs and medications together are synthetic these days.

LSD does not occur naturally. It is considered semi-synthetic, as it is typically produced from the naturally-occuring compound ergotamine.

Why would a drug testing facility test for LSD?

Drug testing facilities cannot test for LSD. LSD is stored in you spinal fluids and would need a government sanction and your consent to test for it. this includes peyote, acid, and shrooms. if told otherwise file a police report because it is illegal. Hope this helps.
