How do you get oran berries on Pokemon soul silver?

Depends. In D/P/Pt, you can find them planted. In HG/SS, you can have them planted in your berry pot, Wade sometimes gives you some, or mom sends them to you if you save enough money.

To grow an Oran berry is first you need an Oran berry, then you find a place where you pick berries, then you plant the Oran berry in one of those spots. But you have to wait a day or two for it to finish growing.

you usually cant, but sometimes if you give people your phone numbers they will give you Oran berries then you can plant that one berry in the berry pot and get as many as you want

In Ecruteak City, I may be mistaken, there is a blond man with a bandanna outside the Pokemon Centre, give him shards, ( I think red or green shards, don't worry about blue or yellow ones) and he will give you berries in return. One of the packages of berries he gives you contains an Oran berry. You will find shards by using rock smash on breakable rocks.

Actually its in Violet City (Johto) and Fuchsia City (Kanto).

You can get Oran berries from the daily draw in Goldenrod City (at the top floor of the department building.) That's how I got mine to help the sick Miltank. If you plant them in berry pots you'll get an unlimited amount, just don't let yourself run out without planting more.

(and you might be able to get them from the stuff mom buys you, but I don't know for sure.)
