What is the value of a rare Pokemon card?

It depends. If it is a weak card like a weedle it is worth about fifty cents to a dollar. But if it is a misprint of a Pokemon card it could be worth about a hundred dollars. If you are going to sell a lot of them I would price them at about seventy or eighty dollars.

or birthday pikachu (you name the pikachu and it does extra damage if it's your birthday pikachu).

Cards that aren't as rare as they're shown are the legendary bird pkmn. My brother brings home a dozen a day.

Without seeing the card it is impossible to say, the three things that increase the value of the card are Rarity, Condition and the Card's stats relevant to the game. The more valuable cards in the Pokemon TCG come from the "First Edition" printings, prices are also higher for sealed booster packs or boxes than individual cards. Condition is paramount too. No one wants to buy your first edition Chizard if it has creases all through the card. Similarly, collector demand is higher for more powerful cards than weaker cards, even if the weaker card is technically more rare.

As a Pokemon fan, I hate to say it but...Unfourtunatly, not much... Pokemon cards are pretty popular still. GIRATINA and Arceus Are still not that much... :(

It depends, some are worth over $200 like most charzards. E3 cards can be $90. It also depends on the age and condition. But most of the cards were not released in the US, only in Japan. And there are lots and lots of cards in english, so there must be cards way rarer then charzards.

in relation to the series of cards produced the card is considered rare, but compared to other rare cards from other series, its based on peoples desire to have that card that makes it rare such as the original charizard from the base set 1, which is considered highly valuable

honestly if you check the back of the card and it has a little sticker in the bottom right corner then it's worth about 50-100 dollars but if it doesn't have a little sticker in the bottom right corner of the card then its probably only worth about 10-15 dollars in cash. if u ever have a mewtwo that is worth 1,000 dollars in cash because of how rare it is :D
