∙ 13y agoYou have to be a hasty male. You can't be a female shinx, riolu, or phanpy for some reason. Similarly, vulpix, eevee, and skitty can't be male.
Eevee may be male and phanpy may be female.

∙ 14y agoYou have to be a hasty male, and if you are a female, you will be a Pikachu. Tip: If you are one of these, Discharge is a great move. It can easily get rid of monster houses in two or three turns. Although, if one enemy has Lightning rod, you have to fight.

∙ 12y agoYou can get a Shinx at Amp Plains. When you have advanced in the game alot, Chimecho will give you the choice to change the leader of your team. But that is only in dungeons. The Pokemon you start out with is the Pokemon you will play in the story. But in some dungeons there are some that only your original character and partner can go in.
