M&B:WB must be purchased to play full version. Mostly because it is sponsored by steam (meaning almost impossible to bypass) you can get m&b and m&bwfas for free though but warband is completely secure and almost no way to get for free and even when it is it wont be distributed publicly because itll be patched. (just like cs)

Feudalism, and Feudalism II, are online games that are basically the same concept, but without the quests. However, the quality of battles and the game itself comes nowhere near the greatness of Mount and Blade. Sorry, I still play the Mount and Blade demo too. Wish it weren't $30. :(
