That would depend what state the shrimp is in and for how long it has been kept unrefrigerated. Food Items can remain in the temperature danger zone (41-141 degrees F) for UP TO 2 hours and still be safe for consumption. Any longer and you risk food-born illnesses.

Shrimp can be safely frozen for up to 3 months. I would throw it out.

If its cooked sure. I've had cooked shrimp that was 3-5 days old and I'm still alive

yes, it's safe because the temperature of the fridge didn't damage the shrimp and didn't do anything harmful to it that will hurt your body insides.
