it will take 24 apples because you use 3 apples to make a pound
One medium sized apple should make one cup of slices. So, eight medium sized apples should make eight cups of sliced apples.
It would depend on what size and type of apple your talking about.
There are about 12 medium apples in four pounds.
The average apple is probably 0.4 lbs, which means four apples is 1.6 lbs.
Could be 12 - 18 depending on apple type
3 cups of sliced apples = 1 pound
That would depend on the type of Apples, the size of the Apples, and how well the juice has been filtered. 1 large apple equals 2 cups sliced or chopped or 1 1/2 cups finely chopped or 1 1/4 cups grated or 1/4 cup sauce. 1 medium apple equals 1 1/3 cup sliced or chopped or 1 cup finely chopped or 3/4 cup grated or 1/2 cup sauce 1 small apple equals 3/4 cup sliced or chopped or 3/4 cup finely chopped or 1/2 cup grated or 1/3 cup sauce 1 pound apples equals 4 small apples or 3 medium apples or 2 large apples 1 (9" or 10") pie equals 2 1/2 pounds (4-5 large or 6-7 medium or 8-9 small apples) peck equals 10 1/2 pounds bushel equals 42 pounds (yields 20-24 quarts of applesauce)
That is about 3 apples.
two and a half
Depending on the size of the apples, you can expect to need about 8 Granny Smith apples to yield 6 cups of chopped apples.
how many cups in 7 lbs. of apples
about 8 large apples-- 16 medium
That is about 1.4 cups
no
2 cups
I found a pdf from University of Illinois Extension that states that one pound of fresh peaches equals... 2-3 medium peaches 2 cups sliced 1 1/2 cups pureed So if I reverse logic and do the math right, then 2 cups sliced is 1 pound and 4 cups sliced would be 2 pounds... So, 4 cups. Right?
